Ilona - reviews on escape rooms
  1. We visited on February 8th. The administrator was very unresponsive. She took us to the room, explained what we were not allowed to do (not to break the inventory, not to use the phone, etc.), but she absolutely did not explain the theme of the escape room. She also ignored important wall markings outside the room where we were locked in, which made the task seem so illogical that even after receiving "help," we couldn't understand the logical connection. Compared to other escape rooms in Riga, where administrators actively step in when they see players struggling to ensure a sense of satisfaction, here, the administrator appeared only right before the time was up. We thought she was coming to help us at least finish the room's "quest," but no—she just rushed in to quickly escort us out... And that’s even though there wasn’t a queue waiting behind us. The aftertaste... well, it was rather disappointing. Imagine buying a plate of food, but after a set time, the plate is suddenly taken away from you, even if there’s still a good portion left. If you managed to eat—great. If not—your fault, even though you paid a considerable price. We have never experienced such an attitude anywhere else. But still, thank you for the time spent, because I do believe the idea was good.
