Have you heard the legend of the Sleepy Shoemaker?
No? Well, it's not surprising. Otherwise, someone might have solved his mystery by now and freed this street from the ghost that has been bothering its inhabitants. But now you have a chance to help them!
In an ancient house on this street, an ancient message to its inhabitants was discovered during a fire:
‘The sleepy Shoemaker was mending his boots.
‘He couldn't do his work anymore.
‘He suddenly fell ill with a strange disease.
He fell asleep wherever he sat!
He fell asleep so soundly,
That he was caught by a wagon,
The wagon that carried to a peaceful rest
All those who had been killed by the old plague.
They buried him
They didn't recognise that he was alive.
His ghost has been walking around ever since.
Suffering, scaring the inhabitants of peaceful nights!
To lift the curse of the Shoemaker
We must pay his debts to the people.
Or take back what they owe,
‘That's what the Shoemaker's dreams can do!’
