A new escape room in Riga! And one set in the Silent Hill universe!

The company Silent District presents its first full-scale escape room  with horror elements that will appeal not only to kids but to adults as well. So, let’s see what they’ve come up with.

Story.
You find yourselves in a very strange clinic, where you must figure out what is going on. Overall, the plot is quite simple and not particularly surprising. As true detectives, you’ll need to unravel the mystery, find the necessary artifacts, and escape from this place. That said, the story does its job well: it doesn’t overwhelm, doesn’t distract from the gameplay, and smoothly guides you forward. However, don’t expect any major “wow” moments or unexpected twists — everything is fairly linear and easy to follow.

Atmosphere.
The setting is done quite simply. There’s plenty of space, the game elements are well integrated into the environment, and everything is clear and easy to read. However, it does feel somewhat lacking in detail: at times the rooms seem a bit empty, as if they need more decoration and “life.” You want a bit more visual immersion, especially considering the chosen universe. The setting has huge potential, and it could have been developed further.

Puzzles.
The puzzles are by far the strongest part of this escape room. First, they are quite technological. Second, they can be solved in parallel, which adds a nice sense of pace and dynamics. Third, they are simply interesting and varied. Yes, some of them feel a bit drawn out, but overall most of the puzzles are genuinely great and memorable. It’s clear that this is where the team invested the most effort, and you can feel it throughout the game

Conclusion.
A good and enjoyable escape room with a strong focus on puzzles. It’s unlikely to scare experienced players, and the atmosphere could have been richer, especially given the Silent Hill theme. However, the game makes up for it with engaging challenges, a clear storyline, and a comfortable pace. A great option for those who enjoy solving puzzles, prefer a more relaxed experience without intense horror pressure, and simply want to have a good time. Those expecting strong scares and a “wow” atmosphere might find it a bit lacking in emotion.
